Germany & Poland Preview

We started planning for this trip since February this year and finally come up with a rough schedule as below.

The theme this time is "EURO 2012".

The most important preparation I did for this journey was logging on the UEFA ticket portal every day since late February.  It is still a mystery to me as to why somebody would be willing to sell their hard-to-find precious little tickets, with no profits to gain at all.  Luckily, there were such charitable people out there, and I was able to purchase the tickets of my choice before the close of the ticket portal in early April.

These two matches will take place in Gdansk and Warsaw, which happen to be the two more interesting host cities in Poland.  Yet I have not received the tickets from UEFA and it makes me extremely nervous.

What if the mail goes astray?  What if a stupid postman steals my tickets and sells them for a fortune?

Meanwhile, I can only look at the photo of ticket and imagine the exciting moment when I hold them in my hands.

P.S. Four tickets were delivered to me by courier on 8 May.  There should be no risk of theft by middleman because the tickets were wrapped in ordinary cardboards with no indication about the contents.

UEFA promises on its website that tickets are expected to be despatched four weeks before the kick-off of the tournament (8 June), so I consider that it has fully discharged its promise.  Well done, Platini and your team!
