Auld Lang Syne

Robert Burns 1759-1796

A traditional Scottish song with words by the poet Robert Burns, often sung at New Year to say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new year.  Auld lang syne means "the old days" in Scots.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And never brought to mind?

Should auld acquaintance be forgot,

And auld lang syne!

     We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,

蛍の光
蛍の光、窓の雪、	ほたるのひかり、まどのゆき、
