Praying to the parade of constellations
for bestowing a romance upon me
真実って どっちから
みたものなの?
想い出は昔のことだけ?

From where can we see the truth?
Are memories only something in the past?
Or something we create from this moment?
吹き飛ばされそうになった

During a seminar on harnessing the power of empathy through storytelling last week, the speaker asked us to share a favourite story we heard as a child. This song popped up in my mind immediately, which I told my neighbours from PlanD and ICAC. Two participants coincidentally talked about their appreciation of Oscar Wilde’s The Happy Prince, while Laura Cozijnsen said her favourite is Roald Dahl’s The Witches.
